SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Administrator II – ABAP / Integration

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Advanced Engineer with 6+ years of experience to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and its ecosystem (e.g., Replicon, Concur, etc.).

The ideal candidate will be part of a global virtual team supporting SAP deployments, working closely with vendors, internal teams, and leadership. This role requires strong technical expertise, a solid understanding of financial processes, and the ability to provide strategic guidance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and configure SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ABAP solutions

2. Implement custom enhancements to meet business requirements

3. Support UAT, upgrades, M&A activities, and vendor coordination

4. Configure and maintain systems for optimal performance and reliability

5. Troubleshoot ABAP programs and resolve technical issues

6. Enhance modules focusing on Authorization, Data Migration, and Integration

7. Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues

8. Manage system backups and recovery processes

9. Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and compliance

10. Support audits and regulatory compliance requirements

11. Implement new features and modules within the SAP ecosystem

12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integrations

13. Develop and execute performance improvement plans

14. Track SAP updates, perform impact analysis, and communicate changes

15. Lead root cause analysis and support incident resolution

16. Provide guidance on support tickets and issue management

17. Participate in on-call support during releases/deployments

18. Act as SME across Fiori, ABAP, CDS Views, OData, Integration Suite, BADI

19. Contribute to knowledge base and technical documentation

20. Support team members during peak workloads

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

2. Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud administration

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

4. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

5. In-depth understanding of databases, OS (Windows/Linux), and networking

6. SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification preferred

7. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Required Skills & Expertise

1. Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud architecture

2. Functional expertise in areas such as FICO, OTC, PS, Security, or Integrations

3. Experience in system monitoring and performance tuning

4. Advanced troubleshooting capabilities

5. Knowledge of SAP transport management and database systems

6. Understanding of cloud computing and modern infrastructure

7. Familiarity with scripting (Bash, PowerShell) – preferred

8. Knowledge of project management methodologies
