About the Role

We are building a dedicated India-based support team to provide round-the-clock SAP managed services coverage across APJ and EMEA time zones. This is a hands-on technical role suited for experienced SAP Basis professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing support environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 SAP technical support across Basis, System Performance Management, and Lifecycle Events (Upgrades/Updates)

  • Manage and support SAP environments including SAP NetWeaver, Business Objects, SAP HANA, and SAP Sybase ASE

  • Handle Application Security, Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning, System Copies, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery

  • Support SAP Private Cloud and Public Cloud (SAP Cloud-Connector, S/4HANA) operations

  • Manage escalations, root cause analysis, and problem resolution using ITIL best practices

  • Work within Managed/Hosting Services or SAP Private/Public Cloud operations models

  • Safeguard client relationships through strong customer service and proactive communication

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP experience in one or more areas: Basis, System Performance, Lifecycle Management, Support, or Escalation Management

  • Practical expertise in SAP NetWeaver, Business Objects, SAP HANA, and/or SAP Sybase ASE

  • Experience in export-import, system copies, HA/DR strategies, and performance tuning

  • Solid understanding of Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis methodologies

  • Experience in Managed/Hosting Services or SAP Cloud Operations (Private or Public)

  • Cloud exposure: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector and S/4HANA

  • Project Management exposure

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology

  • SAP BASIS or Business Objects professional certification preferred

  • ITIL certification is an advantage

  • Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) are a plus
